I am a Latina-owned business, inspired by my hardworking family and spirituality. My beadwork is rooted in Taino indigenous spirituality, and my candles and artwork draw from the rich traditions of my Boricua culture. Growing up in my abuela’s home, I was always in awe of how hard everyone worked. My grandma spent her days caring for my twin sister and me, along with my twin cousins, while my mom, aunts, and dad kept busy at their jobs. My grandparents came from Puerto Rico and always shared stories of their rich culture, a heritage that truly lights up my world. As my grandma always said, “Don’t forget where you come from.” Through my various candle scents, like coquito, which reminds me of the holidays, and Ponte Vicks, which takes me back to being slathered in Vicks when I was sick, I hope to bring a little piece of my home to yours.
